This contest is open to students in grades K-12. This year's theme is:
Expanding Possibilities, Expanding Opportunities!

Students should use their creativity to illustrate the theme. Ready to get those creative ideas on paper?
Start by asking yourself these questions:
  • How do light rail expansions positively impact North Texas?
  • How does public transit help you expand your possibilities?
  • How does DART help you find new experiences?
  • How does public transit help to create new opportunities?
  • How does transit help to create new opportunities?
  • How does public transit enhance your sense of community?
  • How does DART help you have more free time?
  • How does public transit help to extend the distance an employee is willing to commute – and thus expand their job possibilities?
  • How do transit agencies like DART expand the modes of transportation available to you?
  • How does DART expand its service area and yet, at the same time, make communities feel closer and more connected?
  • How does transit help you extend your budget and expand your purchase possibilities?
NOTE: These questions are just a starting point. You're welcome to use them as inspiration for your creation, but feel free to think outside the box and interpret the theme in your own way.

Expanding Possibilities, Expanding Opportunities!
