Available at Downtown Garland, Forest/Jupiter, LBJ/Skillman, White Rock and Ledbetter stations on the Blue Line; Parker Road, Downtown Plano, Bush Turnpike, Galatyn Park, Arapaho Center, Spring Valley, LBJ/Central, Forest Lane, Walnut Hill, Park Lane and Westmoreland stations on the Red Line; Cityplace Station on the Red and Blue lines; Pearl, St. Paul, Akard, West End and Union stations in downtown Dallas; and at Victory, Deep Ellum, Baylor University Medical Center, Fair Park and MLK, Jr. stations on the Green Line.To purchase tickets from a DART TVM like the type shown to the right, follow the steps below. Single-ride tickets and Day Passes are valid only on the date of purchase.

Single-ride*, Day, 7 Day or 31 Day - Select fare type:
Local, System, Regional or Reduced# - Enter your money. This type of TVM will accept coins, $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills and credit cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa).
- Collect your ticket and change.
# No 7 Day or 31 Day Passes available for Reduced fare type.
Multiple types of tickets may also be purchased in a single transaction on this machine.
Note: With the introduction of this new machine type, credit cards may now be used to purchase DART fares at a rail station. In addition to single-ride and day passes, 7 Day and 31 Day Passes may also be purchased at these machines. Both the 7 Day and 31 Day Passes are valid from the date purchased at the TVM. The beginning and ending valid dates will be printed on the pass. The option to receive a receipt will be available for credit card transactions.
DART Fares
DART offers three basic, one-way fares -- $1.75 for Local bus and rail service, $2.50 ($3.50 as of 10/1/10) for System service (valid for Local service plus express bus service (all route numbers in the 200s) between downtown Dallas and free park & ride facilities in Addison, Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Garland, Glenn Heights, Irving, Plano, and Rowlett; Trinity Railway Express (TRE) trains between Union Station and West Irving Station; DART On-Call; and FLEX service) and $3.75 ($5.00 as of 10/1/10) for Regional service (valid for Local and System service plus all TRE trains and The T in Fort Worth.)
For those passengers using DART round trip or making transfers to a second bus or rail route, a Day Pass -- $4.00 for Local, $5.00 for System ($7.00 as of 10/1/10) and $7.50 for Regional ($10.00 as of 10/1/10) -- is recommended. Day Passes are good for unlimited rides (including your return trip) until 3 a.m. Single-ride tickets and Day Passes are valid only on the date of purchase.
Reduced fares are available for seniors age 65 or older with DART photo ID or Medicare Card, non-paratransit certified persons with disabilities with valid DART photo ID or Medicare card, high school students with DART photo ID or current high school photo ID from a school within the DART service area (time restriction may apply; see individual pass or ticket for details), or students ages 5 - 14, no photo ID required. A reduced one-way fare is $.85 and a Day Pass is $2.00.
