The inaugural Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon, benefiting Susan G. Komen's® Marathon for the Cure®, is set for a smooth and scenic run through downtown Dallas on Sunday, March 14. The 13.1 mile course will have themed aid stations, live bands and cheer squads strategically placed along the course to add to the race experience. The race starts at Dallas City Hall at 8 a.m. and concludes in Fair Park. After the race is over, enjoy Better Than Ezra in performance at a free concert at the Rock 'n' Roll Dallas Finish Line Festival located near the Coliseum.On Friday, March 12 and Saturday, March 13, check out the free Rock 'n' Roll Dallas Health & Fitness Expo at the Dallas Convention Center, 650 S. Griffin St. Hours are 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday.

The 2010 St. Paddy's Day Dash Down Greenville 5K Run and Fun Walk starts at 8:30 a.m. at Central Market, Greenville Avenue and Lovers Lane. The 31st Annual Greenville Ave. St. Patrick's Day Parade is the place to celebrate the "luck o' the Irish." EVENTS IN FORT WORTH:
The T's Safari Shuttle Adventure Express is a vintage-look trolley leaving on the hour and half-hour from the Fort Worth ITC Station with stops at the Fort Worth Zoo and ITC. A round-trip Day Pass to ride the Safari Shuttle is $3.00 for adults, $1.50 for seniors 65 and older and children 18 and under, and free for children under 5. Zoo visitors arriving by train may ride the Safari Shuttle from the ITC Station free of charge with their TRE Day Pass or with a weekly, monthly or annual Regional pass.
The Safari Shuttle's route is from the ITC Station at 1001 Jones Street in downtown Fort Worth to Colonial Parkway, just a short walk from the Zoo's main entrance. The Safari Shuttle will run every 30 minutes from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday. The last shuttle trolley leaves the Zoo at 7 p.m. For those who wish to park and ride from the downtown area, parking is available across the street from the ITC Station at commercial parking lots.
